Hello Friends,

I am writing to you today because I’m participating in San Diego Writers, Ink’s 19th Annual Blazing Laptops Write-a-thon fundraiser on April 26, 2026. Writers Ink has helped me take flight in my writing and now I'm helping them fundraise to offer the same opportunities to others. I’ll be resting my wings and sitting down at Lestat’s Hillcrest with my fellow writers from this valued community for six hours of writing. That means I’ll be writing pages and pages (and pages) to raise money for this wonderful organization.

San Diego Writers, Ink is close to my heart because this is where I first found a community of writers who welcomed me. We’re a lively, thriving nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting writers of all levels and across genres, sustaining a writing community in San Diego, promoting and celebrating literature, while keeping the art and craft of writing alive. We hope to make this our hottest Blazing Laptops year yet!

Here’s how you can help:

I’m asking you to show your support for me as a writer and for San Diego Writers, Ink by sponsoring me in the Write-a-thon. I need $150 in pledges to participate, but I’ve set my personal goal at $300. I hope you’ll help me reach that goal. Every contribution helps!
