San Diego Writers, Ink has been a home to me since I moved to San Diego from New York City. In 2008, I was seeking literary friends and writing community, and I feel so lucky to have found San Diego Writers, Ink. I recall years ago, I LOVED attending the Writers Read Book Club with Gina Cameron and Nicole Vollrath. Because of this non-profit, I have completed a novel and a book of poems, countless essays and lots of other content. Six of us, who completed NaNoWriMo in 2011 created a local writing critique group that met monthly for years. That group was inspired by the prep class with T. Greenwood. I have discovered amazing teachers such as Judy Reeves, Kristen Fogle, Tania Pryputniewicz, Ron Salisbury, Tammy Greenwood, Jim Hornsby Moreno, Jill Hall, and many others. I just love this place and all the opportunities that it has offered me for growth in my writing practice.
